How to open and close the Beach Hut:

  1. Use the small keys to unlock the two round locks. To avoid losing the locks we suggest re locking them to their hasps.
  2. Raise the front flap that you have just released. It is on gas struts so will go up quite easily.
  3. Unclip the support struts from the inside of the flap and clip them into the brackets on the front of the hut. It’s now completely safe.
  4. Use the large key to unlock the right hand door.
  5. Flip the two black butterfly catches at the top and bottom of the door.
  6. Secure the right hand door to the front of the hut using the cabin bolt.
  7. Step inside the hut and unbolt the left hand door using the top and bottom bolts
  8. Secure the left hand door using the cabin bolt on the front of the hut.
  9. You’re good to go!
The front flap will go up very quickly, do don’t stand on the decking/veranda while opening!

Locking up:

  1. Unbolt the left hand door and close. Secure with the top and bottom bolts inside the door.
  2. Unbolt the right hand door and close. Lock it and secure with the butterfly clips top and bottom. Don’t worry if they won’t flip easily as they are a bit weather dependant.
  3. Unclip the two support struts and, holding one in each hand, gently lower the flap.
  4. Re lock the two round side locks.
  5. You’re all done! Hope you enjoyed your stay.

Amenities block:

  1. Unlock the standard door lock first using the longer of the two keys
  2. Use the shorter key to unlock the Yale lock
  3. Once you have used the facilities ensure you secure the standard lock again
